Songs of Our Fathers is a feature documentary in development with the Pontarddulais Male Choir in South Wales.

The film will explore the lives behind the collective voice: the relationships, memories and traditions carried through song and the place of the male-voice choir within a changing community.

Moving between rehearsal, performance and everyday life, the documentary will consider what draws men of different generations together and what is preserved, transformed and passed on when they sing.
